The brief we set ourselves
Small hotels lose bookings to long forms and to platforms that flatten every place into the same listing. We wanted a site that feels like arriving, and a booking flow short enough to finish on a phone in the sun.
The idea
Solis is a fictional nine-room hotel above the sea. Booking takes three steps — dates, room, reserve — with slow editorial stories about the place in between for those who want them. Arched frames echo the architecture.
Typography and colour
Young Serif is warm and sunlit; Karla stays out of the way. Sand, terracotta, sea and olive come from the building and the view.

Signature interaction
Book in three steps. Choose dates, pick a room, review — the flow keeps your choices visible at every step and never asks for more than it needs.

What we would test next
Whether three steps hold up with real availability and pricing rules, how much editorial content helps or hinders a booking, and whether the arched frames survive narrow phones.
